This study aimed to analyze salivary glucose levels and pH in relation to the intensity of dental caries in healthy, nondiabetic adults. The study was conducted on 61 patients who were assigned to individual groups based on dental examinations and the calculation of the decayed, missing, and filled teeth (DMFT) index. In addition, time plays an important role in the diagnosis. We identified the number of children who came for a diagnostic visit and analyzed the time of the first audiological visit, depending on the result of the hearing screening test performed in the first days of a child's life and the presence or absence of risk factors of hearing impairment.

This examination is performed on the 2-3 days of a child's life, and in addition, information is collected on the risk factors for the development of hearing loss.
