Accurate Pupil Center Detection in Off-the-Shelf Eye Tracking Systems Using Convolutional Neural Networks.

Remote eye tracking technology has suffered an increasing growth in recent years due to its applicability in many research areas. In this paper, a video-oculography method based on convolutional neural networks (CNNs) for pupil center detection over webcam images is proposed. As the first contribution of this work and in order to train the model, a pupil center manual labeling procedure of a facial landmark dataset has been performed.

Low-Cost Eye Tracking Calibration: A Knowledge-Based Study.

Subject calibration has been demonstrated to improve the accuracy in high-performance eye trackers. However, the true weight of calibration in off-the-shelf eye tracking solutions is still not addressed. In this work, a theoretical framework to measure the effects of calibration in deep learning-based gaze estimation is proposed for low-resolution systems.

Evaluation of 'I-Preventive': a digital preventive tool for musculoskeletal disorders in computer workers-a pilot cluster randomised trial.

Objectives: I-Preventive is a digital preventive tool for musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in computer workers. We sought to determine its impact on pain in computer workers with upper limb MSDs and visual discomfort.

Methods: We conducted a pilot cluster randomised trial in 2 different sites of a tyre factory in France.

ESSIC criteria for the diagnosis of bladder pain syndrome/interstitial cystitis (BPS/IC) and comparison with the NIDDK criteria.

Objectives: To apply the diagnostic criteria of the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) and the criteria of the European Society for Study of Interstitial Cystitis (ESSIC) in our population with Bladder Pain Syndrome /interstitial cystitis (BPS/IC).

Methods: A cohort of 36 patients with the endoscopic clinical diagnosis of BPS/IC were evaluated retrospectively in the Hospital de Clinicas José de San Martin and Urology Center CDU over a period of 5 year. Cystoscopy with diagnostic and therapeutic hydrodistention was applied a to all patients.
