A tracheoesophageal fistula (TEF) represents a condition characterized by abnormal communication between the gastrointestinal tract and the airways. Although the current gold-standard treatment is surgery, pre-existing clinical conditions may represent contraindications. We therefore propose a bronchoscopic approach through rigid bronchoscopy without tracheostomy for total repair in patients suffering from benign tracheoesophageal fistulas.

The pathogenesis of HS results from a complex interplay of genetic predisposition, innate and adaptive immunity dysregulation, smoking, obesity and environmental factors. In the early phase of the disease, the innate immune system is hyperactivated, contributing to tissue damage and triggering the activation and amplification of the adaptive immune response, which plays a pivotal role in the chronic stages of the disease.

A certain overlap of standard dermoscopic features can occur, especially in atypical cases, depending on scalp skin morphology and maturation age. The recently developed line-field confocal optical coherence tomography (LC-OCT) can provide morphological skin details with cellular resolution trough a rapid non-invasive examination.

Background: Pain related to Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD) is severe, negatively affecting patients' quality of life, and often resistant to conventional treatments. Abdominal Acupuncture (AA) is known to be particularly effective for pain, especially chronic and musculoskeletal pain, but it is still poorly studied and never investigated in TMD patients.
Objectives: To analyze the efficacy of AA for the treatment of patients with subacute and chronic pain related to TMD and non-responding to previous conventional therapies (occlusal splint, medications, physical therapy).
