Temozolomide kills cancer cells by forming O6-methylguanine (O6-MeG), which leads to cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. However, O6-MeG repair by O6-methylguanine-DNA methyltransferase (MGMT) contributes to drug resistance. Characterizing genomic profiles of O6-MeG could elucidate how O6-MeG accumulation is influenced by repair, but there are no methods to map genomic locations of O6-MeG.

Major differences in skull shape are established early in development, at a critical developmental interval spanning the initial outgrowth and fusion of the facial processes. In birds, this is orchestrated by domains of Shh and Fgf8 expression, known as the frontonasal ectodermal zone (FEZ).

It hypothesizes that dementia patients infected with SARS-CoV-2experience more pronounced deterioration compared to those who are uninfected.
Methods: Research from 01/03/2020 to 07/10/2023 was conducted using Medline, Web of Science, and Embase databases, and adhering to PRISMA guidelines and the PICO framework.
Eosinophils play a key role in allergic diseases such as insect bite hypersensitivity (IBH). Together with Th2 cells, they shape the course of inflammation in associated type I/IVb allergies. Therefore, a virus-like particle (VLP)-based vaccine targeting equine interleukin-5 (eIL-5), eIL-5-CuMV-TT, was developed to interfere with the IL-5 dependency of eosinophils by inducing the production of anti-self-IL-5 antibodies and alleviating clinical signs in IBH-affected horses.
