MolecularWebXR: Multiuser discussions in chemistry and biology through immersive and inclusive augmented and virtual reality.

MolecularWebXR is a new web-based platform for education, science communication and scientific peer discussion in chemistry and biology, based on modern web-based Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR). With no installs as it is all web-served, MolecularWebXR enables multiple users to simultaneously explore, communicate and discuss concepts about chemistry and biology in immersive 3D environments, by manipulating and passing around objects with their bare hands and pointing at different elements with natural hand gestures. Users may either be present in the same physical space or distributed around the world, in the latter case talking naturally with each other thanks to built-in audio.

A Five-Level, 1-MHz, Class-D Ultrasonic Driver for Guided-Wave Transducer Arrays.

This paper presents the design, characterization, and testing of an ultrasonic transducer driver capable of arbitrary waveform generation with a bandwidth of up to 1 MHz and an output range of ±96 V. The architecture is derived from bridged class-D switching amplifiers and has a five-level power stage. The proposed device was implemented with eight synchronized channels and an all-digital control circuitry to transmit guided-wave ultrasound signals using custom piezoelectric multi-element array transducers, allowing programmable mode selectivity.

The Italian version of cognitive function instrument (CFI): reliability and validity in a cohort of healthy elderly.

The Alzheimer's disease Cooperative Study (ADCS)-Cognitive Function Instrument (CFI) is a 14-item questionnaire administered to the subject and the referent, aimed at detecting early changes in cognitive and functional abilities in individuals without clinical impairment. It is used for monitoring annual variations in cognitive functioning in prevention trials. The aim of the present study was to validate the Italian version of the CFI.
