Background: Urban agglomerates play a crucial role in reaching global climate objectives. Many cities have committed to reducing their greenhouse gas emissions, but current emission trends remain unverifiable. Atmospheric monitoring of greenhouse gases offers an independent and transparent strategy to measure urban emissions.

The underlying mechanism by which MHC class I (MHC I) molecules sample immunodominant peptide epitopes, however, remains poorly understood. In this article, we delineate the interaction between tapasin (Tsn) and MHC I molecules.

Background: Little is known about the epidemiology of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in patients with suspected sleep apnoea (SA).
Methods: Glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) was calculated in consecutive patients referred for full-night observed in-hospital polysomnography. SA was defined as the respiratory disturbance index (RDI) > 5.
Embryonic stem cells (ESC) hold tremendous potential for therapeutic applications, including regenerative medicine, as well as for understanding basic mechanisms in stem cell biology. Since numerous experiments cannot be conducted in human ESC because of ethical or practical limitations, nonhuman primate ESC serve as invaluable clinically relevant models. The novel marmoset (Callithrix jacchus) ESC line cjes001 was characterized using different stem cell markers.
