KDELR1, a constituent of the KDEL endoplasmic reticulum protein retention receptors family, is implicated in immune responses and cancers progression. In this study, we delineate the clinicopathological significance and oncogenic role of KDELR1 in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) through a comprehensive multi-omics approach. KDELR1 expression is correlated with tumor grade, tumor stage, lymph node metastasis, clinical stage and poor prognosis in HNSCC.

Weight gain secondary to the use of oral Janus kinase inhibitors: A systematic review and meta-analysis.

Oral Janus kinase inhibitors (JAKi) are increasingly used in dermatology, rheumatology, gastroenterology, and hematology. Background: Laminectomy and fusion (LF) and laminoplasty (LP) are common treatments for cervical spondylotic myelopathy and myeloradiculopathy. While both procedures show similar clinical improvement, LF requires bony fusion while LP offers motion preservation. Cervical sagittal alignment and horizontal gaze maintenance are key outcome measures, but their comparative effects between LF and LP remain unclear.
