At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, diagnostic testing was not accessible for mildly ill or asymptomatic individuals. Military operational circumstances exclude the usage of reference laboratory tests. For that reason, at the beginning of the pandemic alternative test methods were needed in order to gain insight into the SARS-CoV-2 status of military personnel.

In this work, we analysed 794 GEPs of 1117 human whole-blood samples from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) patients and healthy subjects reported in the GSE112681 dataset. GRNs for ALS and healthy individuals were reconstructed by ARACNe-AP (Algorithm for the Reconstruction of Accurate Cellular Networks - Adaptive Partitioning).

However, the integration of spectroscopy and microscopy to harness the unique broadband spectra provided by HHG is hardly explored due to the challenge to decouple spectroscopic and microscopic information. Here, we present an interferometric approach to this problem that combines Fourier transform spectroscopy (FTS) with Fourier transform holography (FTH).

We have designed MMNs using a novel in silico synthetic biology pipeline that removes genes encoding enzymes and transporters from genome-scale metabolic models. The resulting minimal gene-set still ensures both viability and high growth rates.

LV is also used to rescue antifolate toxicity. LV is commonly administered as a racemic mixture of its l-LV and d-LV stereoisomers.
