[Characteristics of antibiotic therapy in neonates with polyorgan insufficiency].

Polyorgan insufficiency (POI) is the main cause of death in ISU patients. The highest rates of morbidity and mortality due to POI are recorded among newborns. Antibbacterial therapy of probable infections processes is widely used in neonatology, however long-term antibacterial therapy is not favouable for newborn infants.
