Background And Objectives: Hereditary transthyretin amyloidosis (hATTR) is a rare autosomal dominant systemic disease with variable penetrance and heterogeneous clinical presentation. Several effective treatments can reduce mortality and disability, though diagnosis remains challenging, especially in the United States where disease is nonendemic.
