Nitric oxide (NO) is a multifunctional signaling molecule in plants, playing key roles in germination, microbial symbiosis, and nodule formation. However, its instability requires innovative approaches, such as using nanoencapsulated NO donors, to prolong its effects. This study evaluated the impact of treating soybean () seeds with the NO donor S-nitrosoglutathione (GSNO), encapsulated in polymeric nanoparticles, on the germination, nodulation, and plant growth.

While our results were promising, we needed to evaluate the potential toxicity of the nanoparticles themselves. This study aimed to compare the biochemical and hematological parameters of adult Wistar rats receiving LNC or SV-LNC to those receiving low doses of simvastatin crystals dispersed in a saline solution over 45 days.

Objectives: This study aims to provide a current and comprehensive analysis of the incidence of delayed intracerebral hemorrhage (dICH) in head trauma patients on oral anticoagulants (ACs) and to evaluate various potential risk factors.
Methods: We conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis following Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses and Meta-Analysis of Observational Studies in Epidemiology guidelines. PubMed and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials were searched for studies on dICH in anticoagulated head trauma patients undergoing repeat computed tomography scans.
