A survey among healthcare professionals from seven countries reported diverse nutritional practices of late preterm infants.

Aim: To gain insight into nutritional practices and expected growth outcomes of infants born between 34 and 36 gestational weeks defined as late preterm infants (LPT).

Methods: An anonymous online survey among paediatricians and neonatologists from Bangladesh, Indonesia, Mexico, Nigeria, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan was conducted from March until October 2020. The questionnaire consisted of 40 questions on the nutritional management and expected growth outcomes of LPT in and after-hospital care.

Diarrhea in neonates at the Subdivision of Perinatology Dr. Pirngadi Hospital, Medan.

A retrospective study on diarrheal manifestation in newborn babies was conducted at the ward of Neonatology, Dr. Pirngadi Hospital Medan from January to December 1988. There were all 3367 babies hospitalized during the study period.

Cerebral palsy.

Epidemiology of cerebral palsy is complex, being influenced by various factors, some of which are unknown and it is commonly accompanied by other abnormalities, thus involving a variety of specialization in their treatment. In a period of 1978-1985, a retrospective study of cerebral palsy cases was performed at the Child Neurology Subdivision Department of Child Health School of Medicine, University of Sumatera/Dr. Pirngadi Hospital, Medan.

Immunization in the Well Baby Clinic of Dr. Pirngadi Hospital Medan.

A retrospective study on an immunization programme was carried out in the Well Baby Clinic, Child Health Department, School of Medicine, University of North Sumatera, Dr. Pirngadi Hospital, Medan from January to December 1986. Of the 5951 total visits (an average of 495 visits each month) 3960 were primary and 1991 secondary visits.

A retrospective study was conducted on babies born during January 1985 to December 1986 at Dr. Pirngadi Hospital Medan. The aim of this study was to evaluate perinatal mortality and morbidity, and various possible factors related to the subject matter.
