View Article and Find Full Text PDFThe present case report illustrates a rare occurrence of multiple dental anomalies in a healthy 12-year-old patient including anomalies of shape and number of teeth. The developmental dental anomalies noticed in the present case scenario are dens invaginatus, taurodontism, radix entomolaris, supernumerary teeth, and pulp stones seen in multiple teeth. It is not rare to notice these anomalies individually, but their combination is rare in a single, non-syndromic patient.

- Four groups of toothbrushes were treated with different disinfectants: chlorhexidine gluconate, Listerine, Dettol, and tap water, and the effectiveness of these treatments was analyzed statistically.
- Results showed that Dettol was the most effective disinfectant, significantly reducing bacterial growth, while tap water was ineffective in decontaminating toothbrushes.
Objective: The objective of the study was to compare the efficacy of dexamethasone given intra-massetrically via intra buccal approach on postoperative sequele after surgical extraction of impacted mandibular third molars.
Methodology: Twenty patients, each of who required surgical extraction of a single impacted mandibular third molar under local anesthesia, were randomly set apart to one of the two groups of ten each. The experimental group received dexamethasone 8 mg injected to the masseter muscle intra buccally and the control group did not receive any steroid.
The primary aim of this study is to compare, the cephalometric hard tissue profile values and analysis between Tamil and Caucasian population. The study also aims to create a better understanding in the facial proportions of Tamil Nadu population and to have better diagnosis and treatment planning for orthognathic surgery for Tamil population in Tamil Nadu.
