Differentiation of 2 Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Subgroups with Regard to Demographic and Phenomenological Characteristics Combining Multiple Correspondence and Latent Class Analysis.

Introduction: Classic factor analysis of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) dimensions and attempts to identify valid subgroups have not yet produced definitive conclusions.

Objective And Methods: This study aims to examine possible homogeneous subgrouping of demographic and phenomenological characteristics in 134 treatment-seeking OCD patients. A combination of multiple correspondence analysis (MCA) and latent class analysis (LCA) was used.

Appropriating Information Technology Artefacts through Trial and Error: The Case of the Tablet.

The concept of appropriation is of paramount importance for the lasting use of an Information Technology (IT) artefact following its initial adoption, and therefore its success. However, quite often, users' original expectations are negatively disconfirmed, and instead of appropriating the IT artefact, they discontinue its use. In this study we examine the use of IT artefacts following negative disconfirmation and use Grounded Theory Method techniques to analyse 136 blogposts, collected between March 2011 - July 2017, to investigate how users appropriate or reject the tablet when technology falls short of users' expectations.

Manualized single-session behavior treatment with self-help manual for panic disorder with or without agoraphobia.

We examined the clinical feasibility and utility of a single behavior treatment session, with 11 patients with Panic Disorder with or without Agoraphobia (PD+/-AG). Patients used an individualized, exposure based, homework manual, derived from their behavioral analysis. Treatment was implemented in an outpatient behavior treatment unit.

The repeatable battery for the assessment of the neuropsychological status (RBANS): a diagnostic validity study in Greek elderly.

Objective: There is a broad need for a rapid and efficient neurocognitive battery to detect cognitive decline and differentiate MCI (mild cognitive impairment) and mild dementia from cognitively intact elders. The purpose of this study is to create a version of the repeatable battery for the assessment of neuropsychological status (RBANS) for the Greek population.

Method: One hundred and sixty-three (163) adults, including healthy controls (HC), MCI and patients with mild dementia, irrespective etiology, were recruited from the day centers of Greek Alzheimer Association after having followed the diagnostic procedure set by the DSM V.

[Self-stigma, self-esteem and self-efficacy of mentally ill].

The way that the social stigma of mental illness is related with the self-stigma, which in turn affects self-esteem and self-efficacy of mental patients was investigated. A sample of 66 patients in the Adult Psychiatric Clinic of the Thessaloniki General Hospital "G. Papanikolaou" was participated in this descriptive association study, with cross-sectional comparisons.
