Reconstruction of the tragus is very difficult to perform and most techniques are described for the treatment of microtia where remnants of ear are used. The goal always consists in achieving a prominence that covers the canal. We present a novel and safe method, based on the vascularity of the lobule, that also provides a good appearance.

Many of the techniques available for earlobe reconstruction require that the rest of the ear is in continuity with retroauricular skin and they usually need two stages; in some cases a graft is also required. We present a method to create an earlobe in one stage and without grafts, illustrated by one case report. The technique is a combination of the flap techniques of Davis and Zenteno Alanis, using an extended retroauricular flap together with an anterior ear flap.

In this paper the authors present a case of malignant clear-cell hidradenoma developed on the dorsum of the hand. This is only the eleventh complete report in the literature, including follow-up, and only the third to include necropsy. It is the first to find both lung and myocardial metastases.
