The Authors present a case of a primitive normocalcemic hypomagnesimy in a four days newborn. She was hospitalized for convulsive disorders at the Maternity Hospital Foggia - Neonatal Pathology Section. Although her birth had been normal and she was in good condition, the four days infant had clonic crises which in a short time became tonic-clonic generalized convulsive crises.
