Article Synopsis
  • A study was conducted to evaluate a new intermittent recovery test (IRT) for measuring aerobic capacity in soccer players, comparing it with a traditional continuous test (ICT).
  • The research involved 25 male players performing both tests to analyze their physiological data, with an additional group of 15 players for testing the reliability of the IRT.
  • Results showed strong correlations between the IRT and ICT data, indicating that the IRT is a valid and reliable measure of soccer players' aerobic capacity, especially during competitive periods.

Moreover, the ongoing advances in CLD treatment, and its effect on HRQOL, highlight the need for further studies.
