Anti-SARS-CoV-2 vaccination in adolescent and adult patients with juvenile-onset systemic lupus erythematosus: tolerability and impact on disease activity.

Objectives: JSLE has a severe presentation and a remitting course. Patients with JSLE carry an increased vulnerability to infections, which also act as triggers of disease flare. Thus, vaccination against severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) is an important tool in JSLE.

[Diagnosis and treatment of child and adolescent depression].

The present paper reviews the available literature on the current state of knowledge regarding depression in children and adolescents. Empirically supported psychotherapeutic treatment adjustments for children are described, such as the Self-Control Therapy (CBT), Penn Prevention Program; and other treatments that are experimental phase. Similarly empirically supported psychotherapeutic treatment adjustments for adolescents are described, such as Adolescent Coping with Depression, Interpersonal Psychotherapy; and other treatments that are experimental phase as Biblotherapy and Attachment-Based Family Therapy.

Guidelines for reporting of biocatalytic reactions.

Enzymes and whole cells are being increasingly applied in research and industry, but the adoption of biocatalysis relies strongly on useful scientific literature. Unfortunately, too many published papers lack essential information needed to reproduce and understand the results. Here, members of the scientific committee of the European Federation of Biotechnology Section on Applied Biocatalysis (ESAB) provide practical guidelines for reporting experiments.
