The present study aimed to analyze notifications of intimate partner violence (IPV) against indigenous women in the macro-region of Dourados-MS, Brazil, from 2009 to 2020. This is a cross-sectional study with secondary data from registered reports in the Notifiable Diseases Information System (SINAN) of indigenous women who suffered violence. Descriptive statistics of the variables and Poisson regression were performed to determine the prevalence ratio (PR).

This is a cross-sectional and analytical study, with secondary data of pregnant and postpartum women of reproductive age, classified into race/skin color (indigenous and non-indigenous), extracted from the Obstetric Observatory, which uses data from the Influenza Epidemiological Surveillance Information System. The outcome variables were analyzed using the chi-square test or Fisher's exact test, and logistic regression was performed for the factors associated with the death of indigenous people.

This experimental study used the minimum viable product (MVP) methodology to develop an App named ReabilitaCOVID.
Methods: This methodology involves ideation, content creation, prototype creation, usability tests, and adjustments based on feedback.
Ovariohysterectomy (OVH) is a common procedure in bitches, where ovarian suspensory ligament (OSL) rupture facilitates hemostasis but may also have adverse effects. Given the importance of minimizing the surgical stress response, this study aimed to evaluate the impact of OSL rupture in 20 healthy bitches undergoing elective open OVH; a celiotomy via the ventral midline was performed, and hemostasis achieved using bipolar coagulation, either with OSL rupture (OSL-R) or without (OSL-NR). Pain was assessed over 24 h post-surgery using the Visual Analogue Scale and the Short Form of the Glasgow Composite Measure Pain Scale.

Purpose: To evaluate the efficacy of two third-generation resorbable biomaterials-F18 bioglass and β-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP)-in promoting new bone formation in post-extraction sockets in rats. β-TCP, a synthetic porous ceramic, is well-established in clinical use, while F18 bioglass, a novel silica based bioglass.
Methods: After extraction of the right upper incisor of 45 rats, the sockets were filled either with F18 or β-TCP, or left to naturally fill with a blood clot in control group.
