Objective: To evaluate the intraexaminer and interexaminer reliability of low-cost commercial devices to measure skin tone, moisture, and oiliness; determine associations with the Fitzpatrick Scale; and compare results with those of widely used commercial equipment.

Methods: Researchers bilaterally collected a total of 36 samples from 18 participants. For data acquisition, two experienced raters were considered for skin index assessment.

Nowadays, many different medical devices are used, often together, especially in critical patients. It is important for the radiologist to know what to look for and to remember the technical factors that need to be considered when checking each device's positioning.

Reliability of functional compressive bandaging in the treatment of lymphedema secondary to the treatment of breast cancer.

Functional compressive bandaging (FCB) is a therapeutic resource used to control lymphedema resulting from the treatment of breast cancer. However, the reliability of the technique is unknown. We evaluated intra- and inter-rater reliability of the spiral technique in the four-layer FCB of the arm and forearm in breast cancer survivors with lymphedema.

Propranolol 0.2% Eye Micro-Drops for Retinopathy of Prematurity: A Prospective Phase IIB Study.

Oral propranolol reduces retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) progression, although not safely. Propranolol 0.1% eye micro-drops administered to newborns with stage 2 ROP are well-tolerated, but not sufficiently effective.

New Conception of Relining in the Endovascular Aneurysm Sealing Era: A Monocentric Case Series Study.

Over 20 years from the first endovascular aortic repair, endoleaks still represent a common problem, even with newer endograft generation. Numerous procedures can be adopted to manage these complications; relining of the endoprosthesis is a rational technique to treat type III and IV endoleaks. The absence of dedicated materials for these procedures forces the vascular surgeon to perform complex hybrid or endovascular interventions.
