Our aim was to investigate the progress of wound healing after simple and surgical removal of the first two molars of the right and left maxillary segments, respectively, in Wistar rats with experimentally induced moderate chronic renal failure (CRF). Sixty Wistar rats were divided into two groups of 30 rats each: experimental and control. CRF was induced in the experimental group by an intraperitoneal injection of cisplatin, 5 mg/kg body weight (BW) initially and then with two maintenance doses of 2.

The main concern is to avoid acute incidents hyper or sub-glycemic comas during the operation and to secure a smooth post- operational course, namely an undisturbed post- extracture healing. In this study, 80 diabetic patients who came for extractions to the escodental department were divided into two categories: patients suffering from diabetes type I and patients suffering from diabetes type II.

In the case of the local, a potential Ca2+ balance is achieved between the extracellular space on the one hand and the bones and intertine on the other hand, which may come to concentrations of 7 mg/100 ml. The complete settlement of the Ca2+ level up to the normal limits of 9-11 mg/100 ml of plasma, is achieved by the action of the hormonal mechanism.
