A thorough experimental investigation of a bench-scale apparatus of the proton concentration process with two symmetrical MnO electrodes is presented, with the aim of continuous desorption of CO from a KCO solution. The electrodes were fabricated through cathodic deposition, and their chemical states, morphology, and microstructural architecture were characterized with X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Successful formation of MnO film was confirmed by XPS analysis, and the SEM images showed a uniform distribution of the film across the carbon substrate surface and along the strand, with an average thickness of ∼500 nm, thus making proton ion diffusion possible.

In Europe, numerous surveys have shown that 50% of the young surgeons desire a more complete training in emergency general surgery (EGS). A survey conducted by the Association of Surgeons in training in the UK has shown that trainees want greater competence in EGS (92.

Aim: The purpose of this study was to assess how general practitioners (GPs) in the area of Camerino-Matelica, Marche (Central Italy) manage their patients with IBD.
Materials And Methods: Before providing an educational course about IBD to GPs, we administered a simple questionnaire containing 10 multiple-choice questions, allowing for only one possible answer, to GPs in the target area.
