Cross-cultural adaptation of the Turkish version of the dentin hypersensitivity experience questionnaire short form (DHEQ-15).

Background: The short form of the Dentin Hypersensitivity Experience Questionnaire (DHEQ-15) is a valid and reliable tool for Oral Health-Related Quality of Life (OHRQoL) studies. The aim of this study was cross-culturally adapt and validate the English version of DHEQ-15 for the Turkish language.

Methods: The Turkish version of the DHEQ-15 was developed using the forward-backward translation method.

Background/aim: Rheumatoid factor (RF) and anticitrullinated peptide (anti-CCP) are specific for rheumatoid arthritis (RA) diagnosis. However, they could be positive in other diseases and even in healthy populations. The aim was to investigate the prevalence of positive RF and anti-CCP antibodies in persons admitted to hospital for any reason and on a national scale.

Liver fibrosis in inflammatory arthritis patients treated with methotrexate and hydroxychloroquine: A FIB-4 index analysis.

Objectives: To evaluate the risk of liver fibrosis and associated factors with the non-invasive fibrosis score-4 (FIB-4) index in patients with inflammatory arthritis using methotrexate (MTX).

Methods: Patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and psoriatic arthritis (PsA) who were followed up in the rheumatology outpatient clinic, who were on methotrexate only and for whom FIB-4 index was could be calculated at methotrexate initiation and follow-up were included. The FIB-4 index was calculated according to the following formula: age (years) × AST(IU/L)/(platelet count(10 (9)/L) × √ALT(IU/L)).

Is It Possible for Single-shade Composites to Mimic the Color, Lightness, Chroma, and Hue of Other Single-shade Composites? An In Vitro Study.

Objectives: This study aimed to assess color matching post-repair using the same or different single-shade composites of three distinct composite resin materials (Omnichroma-OM, ZenChroma-ZC, and Charisma Topaz One-CTO) following aging in coffee solution and distilled water. Evaluation focused on color change parameters (∆E00, ∆L00, ∆C00, and ∆H00).
