Article Synopsis
  • The study investigates the occurrence of stress urinary incontinence (SUI) in physically active women, specifically during CrossFit exercises, and identifies which exercises are most linked to SUI.
  • Out of 149 participants, 50 women from CrossFit reported experiencing SUI during workouts, with double-unders, jumping rope, and box jumps being the most common culprits, while no incidents were reported by women in an aerobic center.
  • Factors like previous pregnancies increase the risk of SUI, and women have adopted strategies such as using dark clothing and performing Kegel exercises to mitigate it during workouts.
