Aim: The objective was to evaluate the bone mineral density (BMD) and bone mineral content (BMC) in children affected with molar incisor hypomineralization (MIH) using dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) scan.

Materials And Methods: The study comprised a total of 30 children aged 6-10 years. Fifteen children were affected with MIH (moderate and severe variety) diagnosed using the European Academy of Paediatric Dentistry 2003 criteria, and remaining 15 children not affected with MIH serve as a control group.
