Radiative corrections are crucial for modern high-precision physics experiments, and are an area of active research in the experimental and theoretical community. Here we provide an overview of the state of the field of radiative corrections with a focus on several topics: lepton-proton scattering, QED corrections in deep-inelastic scattering, and in radiative light-hadron decays. Particular emphasis is placed on the two-photon exchange, believed to be responsible for the proton form-factor discrepancy, and associated Monte-Carlo codes.

Despite the numerous incidents of scorpion envenoming worldwide, little is known about the effects of maternal venom exposure and serotherapy on fetal development. The impact of antivenom on pregnant rats envenomed by Tityus serrulatus venom was examined. The venom caused alterations in the development of the offspring, yet the antivenom protected against these adverse effects and does not cause harm in itself, indicating the potential benefits of serotherapy.

Background And Objective: Hematological malignancies (HMs) are a group of neoplasms with hematopoietic origin, currently divided into leukemias, lymphomas and multiple myeloma (MM). Although the advances in the management of HMs, the rate of drug resistance, relapse and refractory disease has been increasing, requiring new therapeutic strategies. In this review, we aim to summarize metformin's antitumoral mechanisms of action and present the latest studies of metformin action in HMs, including in resistant ones.

Mate Marote is an open-access cognitive training software aimed at children between 4 and 8 years old. It consists of a set of computerized games specifically tailored to train and evaluate Executive Functions (EF), a class of processes critical for purposeful, goal-directed behavior, including working memory, planning, flexibility, and inhibitory control. Since 2008, several studies were performed with this software at children's own schools in interventions supervised in-person by cognitive scientists.
