This work refines surface registration methods for metrological datasets to improve the multi-method qualification accuracy of additively manufactured (AM) lattices. Datasets acquired from X-ray computed tomography and a coordinate measurement machine of an AM lattice were aligned using derived geometry datum features based on a theoretical supplemental surface definition, which has been established in recent draft standards, but has had limited examination using complex AM structures. A refined sampling registration approach for lattice geometry based on spatially-dependent subsampling is derived and shown to statistically decrease variation between measurement sources.

This paper presents a comprehensive review on the sources of model inaccuracy and parameter uncertainty in metal laser powder bed fusion (L-PBF) process. Metal additive manufacturing (AM) involves multiple physical phenomena and parameters that potentially affect the quality of the final part. To capture the dynamics and complexity of heat and phase transformations that exist in the metal L-PBF process, computational models and simulations ranging from low to high fidelity have been developed.

Polyaniline (PANI) and its drug composites with some drugs like Neomycin (NM), Trimethoprim (TMP) and Streptomycin (ST) have been prepared by oxidative polymerization of aniline using hydrochloric acid (HA) and ammonium persulfate (APS) as a dopant and as an oxidant, respectively. The structures of PANI and PANI-drug composites were elucidated by FTIR and NMR spectroscopy, which confirmed the presence of benzenoid and quinoid rings in the synthesized compound. Molecular weight and thermal stability were determined by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) and thermogarvimetric analysis, respectively.
