[Multiple neoplasms in gastric cancer patients: patterns of development, results of treatment].

Patterns of polyneoplasia development were analyzed in radically operated gastric cancer patients. The second tumors were revealed in 99 of 1255 patients (7,9%) as soon as patients with early gastric cancer manifested primary-multiple malignant tumors almost two times more (15,4%). [The evaluation of the immunogenic activity of an experimental lot of a vaccine against rotavirus infection in cattle on an animal-breeding farm complex].

The immunogenic potency of an experimental vaccine against rotavirus infection of cattle was studied under production conditions. Cows with calves were vaccinated in the second period of pregnancy once, twice and three times. The study showed the schedule of immunization of pregnant cows including three vaccinations at 50-40, 30-20, and 15-10 days before delivery to be technological, providing a high protective effect in newborn calves.

[The status of indices of immunity and hemostasis in patients with lung cancer and their changes due to general anesthesia and surgical trauma].

Phagocytosis, some factors of humoral immunity and hemostasis have been studied in cancer patients before and after surgery. Suppression of natural body resistance in the preoperative period, as well as significant inhibition of leukocyte phagocytic activity following surgery and anesthesia have been established. A correlation has been suggested between hemostasis damages in the postoperative period and an elevated IgM concentration.
