The results of studying the structural features of nanocomposites by electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction analysis, derivatography and stepwise dilatometry are presented. The kinetic regularities of crystallization of nanocomposites based on Exxelor PE 1040-modified high density polyethylene HDPE* and carbon black (CB) are considered by the method of stepwise dilatometry: the dependence of specific volume on temperature. Dilatometric studies were carried out in the temperature range of 20-210 °C.

Herein, pneumococcal serotype distributions in children before and after PCV7 vaccination and in patients with pneumococcal disease in Siberian Russia (Krasnoyarsk) are reported. Analyses included antimicrobial susceptibility testing, sequence typing (ST), pulsed field gel electrophoresis, virulence-related surface protein gene (VSG) typing with novel primers and structural analysis by scanning electron microscopy.

View Article and Find Full Text PDFWe observed 1410 patients of different gender and age with ischemic stroke of 4 main clinical and pathogenic types - atherothrombotic, cardioembolic, hemodynamic and lacunar. The dependence of the pathogenic type of stroke, background options for stroke pathology and risk factors of stroke on sex and age of patients was analyzed. We founded out that atherothrombotic ischemic stroke is more common for persons of retirement age, and in working paeople - gap and hemodynamic once, although atherothrombotic strokes in this age group were more frequently observed among men.
