Tests helped to evaluate psychoneurologic state in civil aviation pilots with various stages and grades of essential hypertension. Findings are that increase of essential hypertension intensity from borderline stage to 1 stage 2 grade reliably influences psychoneurologic state of pilots. Worsening was seen for parameters of volitional attention and spatial representation (test <
The article presents data on peculiarities of chronic pancreatitis course in railway transport workers (engine operators, engine operator assistants, dispatchers) with anxious depressive disorders. Pain and dyspepsia in patients with affective disorders appeared to be constant and more intense than in the patients without concomitant anxious depression. Psychophysiologic tests in 83% of patients with comorbid conditions revealed significant psychomotor dullness manifested in reliable lower speed of visual motor reactions.

Squalene is effective in the treatment of diabetes mellitus type 2 and can potentiate the activity of some antitumor (antiblastoma) preparations and reduce their undesired side effects. This bioactive substance has low toxicity and, in therapeutic doses, does not produce any damaging action on the human organism.

Special attention is paid to the role of individual genetically determined characteristics of drug metabolism in the development of this pathology. Results of experimental and clinical studies of the efficacy of hepatoprotectors in the treatment and prevention of the drug-induced hepatotoxicity are generalized.

In each group, adequate adaptive reactions were due to the eukinetic hemodynamics with steady minute volume and blood pressure values combined with heart rate increase by 10-12%. Hypokinetic hemodynamics caused 20% growth in minute volume during the initial 5 minutes of tilting in pilots versus 8-12% growth in non-flyers.
