Methods: A retrospective cohort was conducted of patients with idiopathic bronchiectasis who received BAE from 2015 to 2019 at eight centers.
One of the important monitoring indicators of the air pollution is atmospheric fine particulate matter (PM ), which can induce lung inflammation after inhalation. Coelonin can alleviate PM -induced macrophage damage through anti-inflammation. However, its molecular mechanism remains unclear.

We aim to investigate the expression and clinical significance of the tubulin gamma complex-associated protein 4 (TUBGCP4) in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The mRNA expression of TUBGCP4 in HCC tissues was analyzed using The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database. Paired HCC and adjacent nontumor tissues were obtained from HCC patients to measure the protein expression of TUBGCP4 by immunohistochemistry (IHC) and to analyze the relationship between TUBGCP4 protein expression and the clinicopathological characteristics and the prognosis of HCC patients.

Background: Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in 2020, routine CT examination was recommended to hospitalized patients at some hospitals and discovered lung cancer patients at an early stage. This study aimed to investigate the detection efficacy of routine CT examination on early diagnosis of lung cancer, especially on pathological characteristics. Methods: The epidemic of COVID-19 outbreak in January 2020 in China, and routine CT examination was recommended to hospitalized patients in June 2020 and ended in July 2021.

In the whole life cycle of a battery, the accurate description of the dynamic and stochastic characteristics of life has always been a key problem. In this paper, the concept of the digital twin is introduced, and a digital twin for reliability based on remaining useful cycle life prediction is proposed for lithium-ion batteries.

There is limited information about the acceptability of these prevention measures in undeveloped areas of China. We aimed to examine the acceptability of PrEP and nPEP and their determinants among men who have sex with men (MSM).

Our previous study found that miR-628-3p could inhibit the growth of A549 cells and induce its apoptosis. Bioinformatics analysis predicted that miR-628-3p promoter sequence contained p53 binding sites.

The aim of this study is to determine mechanisms of hepatoprotective effects of Sal A against lipotoxicity both in cultured hepatocytes and in a mouse model of fatty liver disease. High-fat and high-carbohydrate diet (HFCD)-fed C57BL/6J mice were employed to establish hepatic lipotoxicity in a mouse model.

Objective: To investigate the effects of storage lesion in apheresis platelets on platelet apoptosis and the changes of aggregation function, and analyze the relationships between the apoptosis and aggregation function.
Methods: Platelet samples were collected from 10 healthy donors with O blood group. Firstly, the effects of storage lesion in platelets on the platelet apoptosis were detected by flow cytometry.
The aim of the present study was to identify genes with similar function to that of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) in invasive lung adenocarcinoma (AC) and to screen the transcription factors that regulate MMPs. The gene expression dataset GSE2514, including 20 invasive lung AC samples and 19 adjacent normal lung samples, was downloaded from the Gene Expression Omnibus database. Differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were screened using the limma package in R.

Background: Bletillae Rhizoma, the tuber of Bletilla striata, has been used in Chinese traditional medicine to treat infectious diseases. Chemical studies indicated that phenanthrene was one of the most important components of the herb, with a broad spectrum of antibiotic activity against Gram-positive bacteria. The objective of this study was to further characterize the antibacterial activity of the phenanthrene fraction from the fibrous root of the pseudobulb of B.
