Unlabelled: The aim of this study is to adapt the Glottal Function Index (GFI) into Turkish and to evaluate its validity and reliability.

Method: The scale was initially translated into Turkish by two Speech and Language Pathologists (SLP) and one ear, nose, and throat specialist, and then independently translated back into English by two different SLPs. The translations were compared by an expert proficient in both English and Turkish.

Background: Currently, there is no Turkish assessment tool available for the evaluation of vocal tract discomfort. The objective of this study is to cross-cultural adaptation of the Vocal Tract Discomfort Scale (VTDS) to Turkish and assess its validity and reliability.

Method: The study was conducted with a total of 214 participants, consisting of 121 individuals with voice disorders and 93 individuals without voice disorders.
