To define the risk factors of post-operative voiding dysfunction according to the type of surgical procedure performed. A systematic review through PubMed, the Cochrane Library, and Web of Science databases was performed. The Medical Subject Headings terms aimed for English articles about colorectal endometriosis surgery and voiding dysfunction published until December 26, 2022 were used.

First, a glass rich in germanium (90GeS-10GaS) is synthesized by melt-quenching synthesis in a silica tube sealed under vacuum. This glass is used as a precursor for the second step of mechanochemistry to explore the NaS-GeS-GaS pseudoternary system.

These methods are powerful tools that shed light on the local magnetic response in specifically designed magnetic materials such as contrast agents, for MRI, molecular magnets, magnetic tags for biological NMR, etc. All of these methods have their advantages and disadvantages.

In this work, crystalline NaGaS has been synthesized by an alternative method to what has been previously published, namely, by mechanochemistry, either by a direct one-step process or by a two-step process. In the one-step process, crystalline NaGaS is directly formed by milling sodium sulfide NaS and gallium(III) sulfide GaS.

Monitoring requires periodic measurements collected in situ, replicated over large areas and able to capture their spatial distribution over time. This means developing tools and protocols that are cost-effective and provide consistent and high-quality data, which is a major challenge.

We set out to compare the performance and efficiency of the device in terms of operative lens vision quality (OLVQ) with the reference technique (water + povidone-iodine (PVI) solution) during gynecologic laparoscopic surgery.
Materials And Methods: We conducted a single-center randomized prospective study between March and June 2016 (Trials Database Registration NCT02702531) including 53 patients undergoing gynecologic laparoscopic surgery with water + PVI solution and 51 patients who underwent surgical procedures with the FloShield Air System.
Endometriosis is a condition where hormonal-responsive endometrial tissue grows outside the uterus usually within the pelvic cavity. Extra-abdominal endometriosis is less common and may involves the skin. Subcutaneous endometriosis is rare.

However, the mechanisms by which cancer cells cross the blood-brain barrier remain undeciphered. Most molecular studies predicting metastatic risk have been performed on primary breast cancer samples.

Acute puerperal inversion of the uterus is a rare life-threatening obstetric emergency, especially during caesarean section. We present the case of a 30-year-old patient with acute puerperal inversion of the uterus that occurred during placental removal. After a quick reversion of the uterus, an immediate postpartum haemorrhage (PPH) due to massive uterine atony was observed.

The comparison with the GeSe4 spectrum shows a drastic modification of the typical double-resonance lineshape even at low Te concentrations (<10%). In order to rationalize this feature and to understand the effect of Te on the structure of our glasses, first-principles molecular dynamics simulations and gauge including projector augmented wave NMR parameter calculations have been performed.

In the solid state, both complexes exist in a dinuclear monomeric form, exhibiting no aurophilic interaction, and display similar photophysical properties. It is shown, using DFT computations, that Au-Au chemical bonding appears in the first excited state of these complexes, whereas such bonding does not exist in their ground state; Raman spectroscopy experiments, which bring to light the stretching of this new bond, confirm the theoretical results.

In such complexes, the hemidirected coordination sphere of a HAT Pb(II) cation provides sufficient space for an additional binding of a neutral ligand (e.g.

Crystal structures of 4 V, 5 B, bithiophene 2 V, and five thiophene-derived intermediates are reported. Chromophores 4 V, 5 V, 5 B and 5 VE have photoluminescence quantum yields of 0.

We recorded the fully-relaxed NMR spectra on natural abundance and 100% isotopically enriched GeSe4 samples, which led us to reconsider the level of structural heterogeneity in this material. In this paper, we propose an alternative procedure to initialise molecular dynamics runs for the chalcogenide glasses.

All of them underwent pre- and post-operative CT scan in treatment position to evaluate the planning target volume (PTV) boost volume and define the primary tumor (gross tumor volume (GTV)) and tumor bed zones (CTV), with an overall margin of 5 mm in lateral and 10 mm in craniocaudal directions, corresponding to localization and setup uncertainties.
Whereas stable octanuclear clusters of the type M(I)8(E(∩)E)6 (M = Cu, Ag; E(∩)E = dithio or diseleno ligand) are known for being able to encapsulate a hydride or main-group anion under some circumstances, only the related hydride-containing heptanuclear [M(I)]7(H)(E(∩)E)6 and empty hexanuclear [M(I)]6(E(∩)E)6 species have been characterized so far. In this paper we investigate by the means of theoretical calculations and experiments the viability of empty and anion-centered clusters of the type [Cu(I)]7(X)(E(∩)E)6 and [Cu(I)]6(X)(E(∩)E)6 (X = vacancy, H or a main-group atom). The theoretical prediction for the existence of anion-containing heptanuclear species, the shape of which is modulated by the anion nature and size, have been fully confirmed by the synthesis and characterization of [Cu7(X){S2P(O(i)Pr)2}6] (X = H, Br).

Notably, the adjunction of a so-called hanging-atop (HAT) Pb(II) cation to regular Pb(II) porphyrin complexes allowed a stereoselective incorporation of the N-core bound cation, and an allosterically controlled Newton's cradle-like motion of the two Pb(II) ions also emerged from such bimetallic complexes. In this contribution, we have extended this work to other ligands and metal ions, aiming at understanding the parameters that control the HAT Pb(II) coordination.

Calculations on the models [M8(E2PH2)6](2+) (M = Cu(I), Ag(I); E = S, Se) and the ionic or neutral [M8(X)(E2PH2)6](q) (X = H, F, Cl, Br, O, S, Se, N, P, C) indicate that the cubic M8L6 cage adapts its shape for maximizing the host-guest bonding interaction. The interplay between size, covalent and ionic bonding favors either a cubic, tetracapped tetrahedral, or bicapped octahedral structure of the metal framework.

Layer translations in the two lamellar vanadium phosphates α1- and α2-VOPO4 phases identified during the catalysis were investigated by the combination of first-principles calculations, synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction, single-crystal X-ray diffraction and solid-state NMR. This analysis reveals an important feature: the α1-form is the only polymorph of VOPO4 to exhibit layer translations that prevent the formation of infinite VO6 chains.
