Oogenesis involves two phases: initial volumetric growth driven by nutrient accumulation and subsequent nuclear maturation. While melatonin (MLT) has been employed as a supplement to enhance the quality of fully grown oocytes during nuclear maturation phase, its impact on oocyte growth remains poorly studied. Here, we provide in vivo evidence demonstrating that follicle-stimulating hormone increases MLT content in ovary.

The effects of Rhizoctonia cerealis resistant strains to control wheat sharp eyespot in pig manure developed organic fertilizer were investigated. Organic fertilizer was produced in a self-built aerated static composting box (0.37 m) and later assessed using values of temperature, moisture, pH, C/N ratio, nitrogen transformation, fluvic- and humic acid composition and germination index.

In this study, fresh cattle manure was mixed with rice straw at a ratio of 10:1 in fresh weight and then composted in a self-built, aerated static composting box, whose dimension was 1 m × 0.8 m × 0.8 m with a volume of approximately 0.

The effects of inoculating with microorganisms on chicken manure compost with maize straw were investigated in a self-built aerated static box (0.6 m) by assessing the influences of temperature, moisture, pH, C/N ratio, transformation of nitrogen, humification levels and composting maturity. Results showed that inoculation with microorganisms prolonged the thermophilic stage in composting compared to control groups, increasing the temperature, pH and germination index as the composting period progressed.
