Background: Various parameters derived from technetium-99m pyrophosphate (Tc-PYP) single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) correlate with the severity of transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM). However, the optimal metrics and image acquisition timing required to quantify the disease burden remain uncertain.
Methods And Results: We retrospectively evaluated Tc-PYP SPECT/CT images of 23 patients diagnosed with ATTR-CM using endomyocardial biopsies and/or gene tests.
Objectives: This study aimed to clarify the performance of automatic detection of subsolid nodules by commercially available software on computed tomography (CT) images of various slice thicknesses and compare it with visualization on the accompanying vessel-suppression CT (VS-CT) images.
Methods: A total of 95 subsolid nodules from 84 CT examinations of 84 patients were included. The reconstructed CT image series of each case with 3-, 2-, and 1-mm slice thicknesses were loaded into a commercially available software application (ClearRead CT) for automatic detection of subsolid nodules and generation of VS-CT images.
Purpose: To investigate the MR findings of the solid components within pancreatic solid pseudopapillary neoplasms (SPNs) to characterize solid SPN without degeneration.
Methods: After case matching, 23 patients with SPNs, 23 with pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (PNENs), and 46 pancreatic ductal adenocarcinomas (PDACs) were included in this retrospective comparative study. The MR findings of the solid components within the pancreatic tumors were assessed qualitatively and semi-quantitatively.
Evaluating the similarity between two entities such as primary and suspected metastatic lesions using quantitative dual-energy computed tomography (DECT) numbers may be useful. However, the criteria for the similarity between two entities based on DECT numbers remain unclear. We therefore considered the possibility that a similarity in DECT numbers within the same organ could provide suitable standards.

Materials And Methods: This retrospective study included patients with breast cancer who underwent contrast-enhanced DECT between July 2019 and April 2021. Relationships between LN metastasis and simple DECT parameters, similarity of DECT parameters, and pathological and morphological features were analyzed.
Objectives: To clarify the ultrasonographic features of immunoglobulin G4 (IgG4)-related dacryoadenitis and sialadenitis (IgG4-DS) and their usefulness in clinical diagnostic sessions.
Methods: By re-evaluating 96 consecutive patients with IgG4-related disease, we identified 54 patients (male:female = 37:17; median age, 69.5 years) who underwent lacrimal or submandibular gland (LG or SG, respectively) ultrasonography and computed tomography (CT).
Objectives: To determine the correlation between CT-diagnosed extra-pancreatic extension of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), pathology-diagnosed extra-pancreatic extension, and survival in patients with PDAC.

The objective of our study was to characterize the CT findings of IgG4-related paravertebral lesions. We selected cases of IgG4-related paravertebral lesions that satisfied two inclusion criteria: first, lesions in patients with IgG4-related disease diagnosed by a multidisciplinary approach between April 2007 and June 2018; and, second, patients who had soft-tissue lesions in paravertebral regions on CT images. We added one case of an IgG4-related paravertebral lesion diagnosed pathologically in 2003.

Purpose: To determine whether morphological changes can occur in the splenic artery (SPA) of autoimmune pancreatitis (AIP) cases, and if present, to compare them with those in pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAC) to clarify any arterial morphological differences between AIP and PAC.
Methods: A total of 101 AIP cases were included in this study. The presence or absence of morphological change in the SPA was assessed, using arterial phase axial computed tomography images.
Purpose: To retrospectively elucidate the findings useful in determining the tumor grade of pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PNETs) by combined assessment of magnetic resonance (MR) and dynamic computed tomography (CT) images.
Materials And Methods: Eighty-nine patients with PNETs (96 lesions) were included, and classified as G1, 59; G2, 29; and G3, 8 lesions. Image analysis included lesion diameter, shape, enhancement pattern on arterial phase (AP) and delayed phase CT images, calcification, cystic portion, main pancreatic duct dilatation, signal-intensity on T1-, T2-weighted MR images, and appearance of apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC).
We describe a 67-year-old man with immunoglobulin G4-related disease (IgG4-RD) presenting with optic neuropathy, dacryoadenitis, periaortitis, retroperitoneal fibrosis, and a gastric mass-like lesion. A mass-like lesion measuring 52 × 40 mm in the antrum of the stomach was found incidentally through whole-body screening for other organ involvement of IgG4-RD using contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT). Histology of the stomach revealed that the lesion was also IgG4-related and was located in the submucosal layer extending to the subserosal region.

Immunoglobulin G4-related disease (IgG4-RD) is a recently discovered systemic condition, in which various organ manifestations are linked by a similar histological appearance. Our knowledge of this condition is still fragmented, as most studies have examined only a few dozen patients or focused on a particular organ manifestation. Materials And Methods: One-hundred and twenty-nine HCCs treated with superselective TACE were divided into three groups according to the type of anticancer drug; EPI-M-TACE (n = 51), MPT-TACE (n = 21), and MPT-I-TACE (MPT emulsion) (n = 57). Local recurrence, patterns of recurrence (intratumoral recurrence; IR), and follow-up angiograms were evaluated.

Purpose: To evaluate the arterial blood supply to the caudate lobe of the liver from the proximal branches of the right inferior phrenic artery (RIPA) in patients with recurrent hepatocellular carcinoma after transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE).
Materials And Methods: Thirteen patients, including 10 who had a history of TACE of the caudate artery (A1), underwent TACE of the proximal RIPA branches. Iodized oil distribution was evaluated by computed tomography (CT) 1-week after TACE.
