Background: There may be many reasons for delays to primary cleft surgery. Our aim was to investigate the age of children undergoing primary cleft lip or primary cleft palate repair in 5 cleft centers within the United Kingdom. As such, pest resistance is of high priority but has been neglected in most tree breeding programs, given the complexity of phenotyping for these traits and delays to assess mature trees. Providing the best care for patients dying from cancer of the head and neck is crucial, and their complex, unpredictable needs, particularly at the end of life, mean that they are likely to die in institutional care. To evaluate the care given at the end of life we retrospectively reviewed the case notes of patients who died between 2007 and 2012 in a regional head and neck unit and a specialist palliative care unit (hospice). Deaths were categorised as sudden (rapid or unanticipated) or expected (gradual or anticipated).

Introduction: Various presentations of essential palatal myoclonus, a condition characterized by clicking noises and palatal muscle spasm, have been reported in the literature. We are reporting the first case of essential palatal myoclonus following dental treatment.

Case Presentation: A 31-year-old Caucasian man presented to our Ear, Nose and Throat department complaining of objective clicking tinnitus occurring immediately after he had undergone root canal treatment on his right lower third molar 3 months ago.

Problems with sexuality and intimacy in head and neck cancer are under reported. This study set out to describe patients self-reporting of intimacy and sexual dysfunction following treatment and to explore associations with patient characteristics. Patients treated for primary head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, alive and disease free, were identified from the University Hospital Aintree Head and Neck Cancer database, January 2000 to December 2006.
