Background/aim: It is critically important to protect the health of the oldest-old people, as their hospitalization and death rates are high. The objective of this study was to analyze the prevalence of potentially inappropriate medication use among the community-dwelling oldest-old people and its association with their demographic characteristics.
Materials And Methods: Data were collected from real-world settings using the observational method for this descriptive study.

Background: The use of medications with anticholinergic effects can have negative effects on older patients, such as cognitive dysfunction and falls. The aim of this study was to determine the frequency of use of anticholinergic medication among the oldest-old age group and to analyze the factors associated with its use.
Methods: This is a descriptive study.

Objective: This study aims to analyze the frequency of PIMs in the elderly health records registered to a family health center and to identify risk factors, prescription/nonprescription distribution, distribution by healthcare institutions, number of doctors visits, and health literacy.
Methods: In this cross-sectional study, a stratified sampling method was used to select individuals aged ≥ 65 years.

Objectives: We aimed to assess pharmacists' contraceptive knowledge and evaluate the contraceptives requested and sold in pharmacies.
Methods: A descriptive study was carried out in October 2016 in cooperation with the Chamber of Pharmacists of Istanbul Province, Turkey. Data were collected by questionnaire, and pharmacists' total knowledge scores were calculated.
