It's critical for tube formation and angiogenesis to repair ischemic myocardium or stroke. This study aimed to investigate role of microRNA-126 (miR-126) in tube formation in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) and associated mechanisms. Primary neural stem cells (NSCs) and HUVECs were cultured and transfected with microRNA-126 mimics and miR-126 inhibitor.

In this paper, an experimental setup which can quantify the engagement force has been designed. A series of experiments under different engagement forces have been performed, and an interesting phenomenon is found that the increase in engagement force enhances superharmonics and diminishes subharmonics in vibration velocity spectrum of the target.

Store-operated Ca²⁺ entry has been suggested to be a significant mechanism of excessive Ca²⁺ influx in many cells. The role of store-operated Ca²⁺ entry in neuronal ischemic injury has yet to be elucidated.
