Objective: To explore the role and clinical significance of cell-cycle dependent kinase 1 (CDK1) and its upstream and downstream molecules in the development of malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumor (MPNST) through the analysis of clinical tissue samples.
Methods: A total of 56 tumor samples from MPNST patients ("Tianjin" dataset) who underwent surgical resection, confirmed by histology and pathology between September 2011 and March 2020, along with 17 normal tissue samples, were selected as the research subjects. MPNST-related hub genes were identified through transcriptome sequencing, bioinformatics analysis, immunohistochemistry staining, and survival analysis, and their expression levels and prognostic associations were analyzed.

In this study, an economic and controllable Marangoni self-assembly approach is designed to prepare the heterostructured nanocoatings (8-28 nm) consisting of alternately stacked mosaic nanosheets of hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) and graphene. The resulting 2D nanocoatings exhibit a combination of advantageous properties, such as prevention of interfacial reactions, robust interfacial binding, a labyrinthine barrier effect, inhibition of galvanic corrosion, and alleviation of internal stress. The protective property of graphene/h-BN heterostructured nanocoatings is studied through potentiodynamic polarization curves and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, with the theoretical support of first-principles calculations.

Molybdenum-based compounds show promising promotion effects on Pt catalysts for energy-relevant catalysis reactions. Herein, a more effective promotion effect of MoP than MoC was found in assisting Pt nanoparticles for methanol-assisted hydrogen generation in light of the strong metal-support interaction and synergistic effect between Pt and MoP/C nanospheres. Electrochemical analyses and theoretical calculations demonstrated that Pt-MoP/C facilitated the oxidation and removal of CO intermediates more effectively than Pt-MoC/C.
