The Morel-Lavallée lesion is an internal degloving injury seen after a traumatic force. These lesions are frequently missed on initial presentation, leading to a delay in diagnosis and increased morbidity. We present a case of a 52-year-old male who suffered an injury to his right thigh and was ultimately diagnosed with a Morel-Lavallée lesion after the third emergency department visit.
