Trifluridine/tipiracil-bevacizumab is a standard of care in metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) after chemotherapy failure. We aim to assess the addition of XB2001 (anti-IL-1 alpha monoclonal antibody) plus trifluridine/tipiracil-bevacizumab in mCRC refractory to standard chemotherapy. This multicenter, randomized, double blind, non-comparative Phase I-II study (ClinicalTrials.

Purpose: Sensory chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) is well-recognized, but motor CIPN remains understudied. This secondary analysis focused on the long-term severity and impact of motor disorders, their relation to sensory CIPN, neuropathic pain, psychological distress, and health-related quality of life (HRQoL) after oxaliplatin-based chemotherapy in colorectal cancer (CRC) survivors.

Methods: Data from a multicenter, cross-sectional study were re-analyzed to explore motor CIPN among CRC survivors up to 5 years post-chemotherapy, with no longitudinal follow-up.

Background: In the context of personalized medicine, screening patients to identify targetable molecular alterations is essential for therapeutic decisions such as inclusion in clinical trials, early access to therapies, or compassionate treatment. The objective of this study was to determine the real-world impact of routine incorporation of FoundationOne analysis in cancers with a poor prognosis and limited treatment options, or in those progressing after at least one course of standard therapy.

Methods: A FoundationOneCDx panel for solid tumor or liquid biopsy samples was offered to 204 eligible patients.

Oxaliplatin, a pivotal drug in the management of colorectal cancer, causes chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) in a third of cancer survivors. Based on a previous cross-sectional study assessing oxaliplatin-related sensory CIPN in colorectal cancer survivors, a secondary analysis was designed to explore the possibility that different clusters of patients may co-exist among a cohort of patients with oxaliplatin-related CIPN. Other objectives were to characterize these clusters considering CIPN severity, anxiety, depression, health-related quality of life (HRQOL), patients' characteristics and oxaliplatin treatments.

Background: Poorly differentiated neuroendocrine carcinomas (NEC) are rare diseases with a poor prognosis. Platinum-etoposide (PE) has been the recommended first-line treatment for decades. FOLFIRINEC (NCT04325425) is a national multicenter randomized phase II study which aims to challenge this standard regimen.

Objectives: Physical activity (PA) programs are recommended for breast cancer care. However, their modalities remain to be discussed. This study determined the best time to begin a personalized or adapted program based on cardiopulmonary exercise test function.

(1) Background: Oxaliplatin is among the most neurotoxic anticancer drugs. Little data are available on the long-term prevalence and consequences of chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN), even though the third largest population of cancer survivors is made up of survivors of colorectal cancer. (2) Methods: A multicenter, cross-sectional study was conducted in 16 French centers to assess the prevalence of CIPN, as well as its consequences (neuropathic pain, anxiety, depression, and quality of life) in cancer survivors during the 5 years after the end of adjuvant oxaliplatin chemotherapy.

Oral therapies have highly modified cancer patient management and changed hospital practises. We introduce a specific Oral Therapy Centre and retrospectively review information prospectively recorded by co-ordination nurses (CNs) (the DICTO programme). We describe the roles played by CNs in the management of oral cancer therapies at Limoges Dupuytren Hospital between May 2015 and June 2018.

Ectopic thyroid tissue occurs in about 7 to 10% of the general population. Localization in the anterior mediastinum is rare: seven cases reported in the literature, most associated with thyroid dysfunction. We report the case of a 77-year-old woman who presented ectopic thyroid tissue in the anterior mediastinum and a normally-located normally-functioning gland.
