Background: Based on previous in vivo studies and human trials, intrathecal cell delivery is a safe and relevant therapeutic tool for improving patient's quality of life with neurological conditions. We aimed to characterise the safety profile of intrathecally delivered Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs).
Methods: Ovid MEDLINE, Embase, Scopus, Cochrane Library, KCI-Korean Journal Database, and Web of Science.
Objectives: To describe the prevalence of recurrent voluntary termination of pregnancy (VTP) and to explore associated factors.
Materials And Methods: Descriptive, cross-sectional cohort study which included women seen between 2015 and 2021 in five sites of an institution located in the Department of Antioquia which promotes sexual and reproductive health (SRH) care in Colombia. Measured variables included sociodemographics, SRH, recurrent performance of VTP, type of procedure used in the first VTP and contraception method selected afterwards.
Background And Objectives: Some patients have insufficient treatment response to conventional disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (cDMARD); although biologics have proven to be an effective treatment for RA, the effects that bDMARDs have on integumentary, cardiac, and immune systems and the high costs associated with these treatments, make that mesenchymal stem cell-based therapies (MSCs) for RA are being considered potential treatment methods. This work analyses the performance in safety and efficacy terms of MSCs techniques.
Methods And Finding: A literature search was performed in PubMed, EMBASE, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, and Open Grey databases from inception to October 28, 2022.
Atrioventricular blocks are chronotropic abnormalities produced by multifactorial alterations in the cardiac innervation system, specifically between the internodal pathways between the sinus node and the atrioventricular node. These bradyarrhythmias represent 2.3% of cardiac alterations in intrauterine life, registering one case for every 20 000 to 25 000 live births.

Objectives: This work sought to evaluate the impact of an educational intervention on oral hygiene care aimed at nursing care staff, on the incidence of Ventilator-Associated Pneumonia (VAP) in adults from an ICU in Colombia.
Methods: Quasi-experimental study pre- and post-educational intervention aimed at nursing staff in which theoretical-practical sessions were conducted during 12 weeks to explain different oral hygiene techniques according to the oral conditions of patients. The study gathered sociodemographic, clinical, and characteristic variables of the oral and dental care received.
Background: the measurement of the spaces of occupation of irregular objects in the context of fractal geometry has had some applications at a cellular morphometric level, where characterizations of normality and disease have been established. The objective of the present study is to apply a fractal methodology to characterize images from cervical colposcopy.
Materials And Methods: a mathematical and geometrical characterization of 67 cell samples was performed by measuring cellular fractal characteristics through the Box-Counting method, being nine normal, eight low-intraepithelial lesions, 16 high-intraepithelial lesions, eight carcinomas in situ, 20 squamous cell carcinomas and six endocervical carcinomas.
Edwards syndrome or trisomy 18 is a complex entity that involves the musculoskeletal, craniofacial, cardiovascular, and neurological systems. Its genetics are varied, presenting both in a complete and mosaic type. Survival rarely exceeds the first year of life.

Introduction: The analysis of injuries caused by traffic from a physical and mathematical perspective can help improve road safety strategies. Objective: Predict the dynamics of traffic fatalities in the states of Maryland and Massachusetts for the years 2004 and 2014 in the context of probabilistic random walk. Methods: An analysis was made of the number of total fatalities caused by traffic per year, in the states of Maryland and Massachusetts between the years 1994-2003 and 1994-2013.
