Angiosarcomas are malignant vascular tumors that commonly occur on the skin of the head and neck, breast, or scalp. Oral angiosarcoma is a rare tumor (0.0077% of all cancers in Europe), and regarding this atypical localization, no formal treatment trials have been conducted yet.

This entails a more easily infectable wound, and delayed tissue regeneration due to the inflammation that occurs, leading to a drastic decrease in the overall patient's quality of life. As a strategy to manage DFUs, skin alternatives and wound dressings are currently receiving a lot of attention as they keep the wound environment "under control", while providing bioactive compounds that help to manage infection and inflammation and promote tissue repair.

Studies in non-human animal models have revealed that in early development, the onset of visual input gates the critical period closure of some auditory functions. The study of rare individuals whose sight was restored after a period of congenital blindness offers the rare opportunity to assess whether early visual input is a prerequisite for the full development of auditory functions in humans as well. Here, we investigated whether a few months of delayed visual onset would affect the development of Auditory Brainstem Responses (ABRs).

Thus, this study aimed to evaluate the results of elective and simultaneous EVAR and LC. Thirteen patients (mean age, 72 years) with concomitant large and asymptomatic AAA and asymptomatic cholelithiasis underwent simultaneous EVAR and LC.

Patients And Methods: Sixteen patients, 10 men and 6 women of a median age of 63 years (IQR=56-70.
Background: Carotid body tumor (CBT) is a slow-growing tumor arising from the carotid body, a chemoceptor organ lying behind the carotid artery bifurcation. Although rarely, metastases can occur distally through the hematogenous route and through the lymphatic route.to the cervical lymphnodes.

A retrospective evaluation of 57 consecutive patients undergoing distal spleno-pancreatectomy for adenocarcinoma was performed. The pancreatic isthmus was systematically straight-sectioned with a cold knife, and the remnant was stapled close without additional stitches or adjuncts.

Eversion of the tumor-bearing ano-rectal stump was proposed to allow the linear stapler to be fired at a safe distance of clearance from the tumor. We conducted this study to compare the results of the standard versus the eversion-modified double-staple technique.

Patients And Methods: Nine patients presenting thrombosis of the IJV for gastric carcinoma were divided into two groups.
Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) is emerging in Denmark. This interdisciplinary desk study investigated the options for WSUD retrofitting in a 15 km(2) combined sewer catchment area in Copenhagen. The study was developed in collaboration with the City of Copenhagen and its water utility, and involved researchers representing hydrogeology, sewer hydraulics, environmental chemistry/economics/engineering, landscape architecture and urban planning.

Much water management research has focused on technical innovation with a range of new solutions developed to achieve a 'more sustainable and integrated urban water management cycle'. But Danish municipalities and utility companies are struggling to bring such solutions into practice.
