Article Synopsis
  • Diaphragmatic ruptures are rare injuries that can happen after serious accidents, like car crashes, but they only occur in a small percentage of those cases.
  • A 58-year-old woman had a right-sided diaphragmatic rupture after a high-speed car accident, which caused her liver to move in a way that looked like another injury called pleural effusion.

This prompted us to evaluate our data for T1N0 colorectal cancer treated by radical surgery regarding recurrence, morbidity, mortality, and survival rates.
