The antimalarial acitivity of hydroxyethylamines, synthesized from the reaction of intermediated hydroxyethypiperazines with benzenesulfonyl chlorides or benzoyl chlorides, has been evaluated in vitro against a W2 Plasmodium falciparum clone.
