Aim: Our aim was to determine the key challenges for MT implementation and access worldwide.
Methods: We conducted an international online survey consisting of 37 questions, distributed through the World Stroke Organization network, and as invited by co-authors between December 2022 and March 2023.

Operators of water distribution systems (WDSs) need continuous and timely information on pressures and flows to ensure smooth operation and respond quickly to unexpected events. While hydraulic models provide reasonable estimates of pressures and flows in WDSs, updating model predictions with real-time sensor data provides clearer insights into true system behavior and enables more effective real-time response. Despite the growing prevalence of distributed sensing within WDSs, standard hydraulic modeling software like EPANET do not support synchronous data assimilation.

We aim to assess the correlation between DSA hemodynamic parameters with CT angiography (CTA) structural measurements and clinical characteristics.
Methods: Cross-sectional analysis of consecutive patients with CaW who underwent CTA+DSA.
Primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) is a rare, progressive disease, characterized by inflammation and fibrosis of the bile ducts, lacking reliable prognostic biomarkers for disease activity. Machine learning applied to broad proteomic profiling of sera allowed for the discovery of markers of disease presence, severity, and cirrhosis and the exploration of the involvement of CCL24, a chemokine with fibro-inflammatory activity. Sera from 30 healthy controls and 45 PSC patients were profiled with proximity extension assay, quantifying the expression of 2870 proteins, and used to train an elastic net model.

Methods: The association between every 1-h treatment delay with 90-day functional independence (modified Rankin Scale [mRS] score 0-2), symptomatic intracranial hemorrhage, and 90-day mortality was explored in the overall population and in three modes of onset subgroups (wake-up vs. witnessed vs.
Background: Overexpression of C-C motif chemokine ligand 24 (CCL24) is associated with inflammatory and fibrotic diseases, including primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC), systemic sclerosis, metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) and metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH). CM-101 is a humanized monoclonal antibody that neutralizes CCL24 to attenuate inflammation and fibrosis in preclinical models. Here we report the results from two Phase 1a studies investigating the safety and tolerability of intravenous (IV) and subcutaneous (SC) CM-101 in healthy participants, and in one Phase 1b study of IV and SC CM-101 in patients with MASLD without evidence of MASH.

Methods: In this multicenter, randomized trial involving patients with an acute intracerebral hemorrhage, we assessed surgical removal of the hematoma as compared with medical management.

Aim: To investigate ethnic disparities in risk of gestational diabetes-mellitus (GDM) and future diabetes.
Methods: A population-based retrospective cohort study of women who underwent a 100-g oral glucose-tolerance-test (oGTT) during pregnancy between 2007 and 2017 in Clalit-Health-Services of the Jerusalem district. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were used to compare the risk of GDM in Arab versus Jewish women.
Primary sclerosing cholangitis (PSC) is an inflammatory and fibrotic biliary disease lacking approved treatment. We studied CCL24, a chemokine shown to be overexpressed in damaged bile ducts, and its involvement in key disease-related mechanisms. Serum proteomics of PSC patients and healthy controls (HC) were analyzed using the Olink proximity extension assay and compared based on disease presence, fibrosis severity, and CCL24 levels.

Eighty-six listeners rated the intelligibility and acceptability of sentences extracted from a passage read by speakers with dysarthria. Samples were used from the Atlanta Motor Speech Disorders Corpus and ratings were collected via self-report.

Background: Thyroid dysfunction (TD) is associated with increased cardiovascular morbidity and mortality. Early detection may influence the clinical management.
Objective: To determine the prevalence, predictors, and prognostic value of TD among hospitalized cardiac patients.
Background And Objectives: Evidence of the so-called "obesity paradox," which refers to the protective effect and survival benefit of obesity in patients with spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH), remains controversial. This study aims to determine the association between body mass index (BMI) and functional outcomes in patients with ICH and whether it is modified by race/ethnicity.
Methods: Included individuals were derived from the Ethnic/Racial Variations of Intracerebral Hemorrhage study, which prospectively recruited 1,000 non-Hispanic White, 1,000 non-Hispanic Black, and 1,000 Hispanic patients with spontaneous ICH.
Aim: To quantify the future risk of type 2 diabetes (T2D) in women with gestational diabetes (GD) based on baseline metabolic characteristics and the number of abnormal values during a 3-hour 100-g oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT).
Materials And Methods: We conducted a population-based retrospective cohort study of 10 023 pregnant women who underwent testing for GD in a large health maintenance organization in Israel using a 100-g OGTT. Glucose values were obtained at four time points, 0, 60, 120 and 180 minutes.
Background: Carotid web (CaW) is a subtype of fibromuscular dysplasia that predominantly involves the intimal layer of the arterial wall and is commonly overlooked as a separate causative entity for recurrent strokes. CaW is defined as a shelf-like lesion at the carotid bulb, although different morphological features have been reported. Optical coherence tomography (OCT) has been described in the literature as a useful microscopic and cross-sectional tomographic imaging tool.

Objective: Given many emerging indications for endovascular interventions in ischemic strokes, a safe and effective adjuvant antiplatelet regimen for acute revascularization has become a subject of interest. Ticagrelor is a direct oral P2Y12 inhibitor that may achieve rapid platelet suppression than standard oral therapies. We report our experience of Ticagrelor use in revascularization of acute large arterial steno-occlusive disease, describing procedural post-procedure thrombotic events, major hemorrhages, and other clinical outcomes.

We aimed to investigate the agreement between perfusion parametric maps of 3 software packages - RAPID (RapidAI-IschemaView), Viz CTP(Viz.ai), and e-CTP(Brainomix) - in estimating baseline ischemic core volumes of near completely/completely reperfused patients.

Previous reports correlated radiographic signs with clot composition and a better response to specific techniques. Therefore, understanding clot composition may allow improved outcomes.

Objective: The aim of this study was to assess the prevalence of the p.Tyr394Ser variant in the Jerusalem Ashkenazi Jewish (AJ) population with PHPT, and to conclude whether routine genetic testing is justified.
The aim of this study is to obtain knowledge about which cultivable bacterial species are present in indoor air in homes, and whether the concentration and diversity of airborne bacteria are associated with different factors. Measurements have been performed for one whole year inside different rooms in five homes and once in 52 homes. Within homes, a room-to-room variation for concentrations of airborne bacteria was found, but an overlap in bacterial species was found across rooms.

We sought to determine the characterization of poor collaterals across the three different phases of the mCTA. We also attempted to establish the optimal arterio-venous contrast timing parameters on sCTA that would prevent false positive reads of poor collateral status.

Background: Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is a potentially devastating condition with elevated early mortality rates, poor functional outcomes, and high costs of care. Standard of care involves intensive supportive therapy to prevent secondary injury. To date, there is no randomized control study demonstrating benefit of early evacuation of supratentorial ICH.
