Gatralimab is a next-generation humanized anti-CD52 mAb.
Methods: Two first-in-human trials were conducted in participants with progressive MS to assess the pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, and safety of gatralimab administered via subcutaneous (SC) and intravenous (IV) routes, and to determine the effect of different comedication regimes on IARs to SC gatralimab.
Closo-boron hydrides BH (n = 5-12) are a conceptually well understood class of compounds. For these and a few related prototype compounds, both the local and the global picture of 3-center bonding are extracted from position-space quantities based on the electron density and the pair density. For this purpose, three-center delocalization indices between quantum theory of atoms in molecules (QTAIM) atoms in position space are used to develop a consistent set of local bond and triangle, and global cluster delocalization ratios (DRs), which are quantitatively compared with conceptual Γ values derived from the styx code for each cluster.

No compositional homogeneity range was detected. While single crystals annealed at 200 °C feature a fully ordered crystal structure, a crystal annealed at 300 °C reveals a defect with mutual exchange of Na atoms and Ga dumbbells.

In the conceptual framework of the Wade's type of clusters the relations to the octet rule are less obvious, and its structural implications are not clear. For this purpose, a topological implementation of the octet rule (TORI) within a delocalized bonding scenario is introduced.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic ME/CFS related to post-acute COVID-19 syndrome (PACS) can be diagnosed in a subset of patients presenting with persistent fatigue 6 months after a mostly mild SARS-CoV-2 infection by fulfillment of the Canadian Consensus Criteria (CCC 2003). Induction of autoimmunity after viral infection is a mechanism under intensive investigation.

The peritectic formation temperature decreases with increasing Li content from 501(2) °C ( = 0) to 489(2) °C ( = 1). The boundary compositions NaGa and NaLiGa crystallize with different structure types related by a group-subgroup relation.

Previous application of this scheme to semiconducting main-group compounds of the cubic MgAgAs type of structure with 8 valence electrons per formula unit (8 ve per f.u.

In a pilot study, electron-density (ED) and ED Laplacian distributions were reconstructed for the challenging case of CaB (Pearson symbol cP7) with conceptually fractional B-B bonds from quantum-chemically calculated structure-factor sets with resolutions 0.5 Å ≤ [sin(θ)/λ] ≤ 5.0 Å by means of Fourier-synthesis techniques.

Threshold fluences as a function of beam size have been determined for effective beam diameters ranging from 40 to 220 µm, in a single shot regime. The results suggest no beam-size effect related to material properties in the investigated range, but size effects related to the metrology.

It provides a real space energy decomposition of the energy of crystals in which all energy components are physically meaningful. The new package ChemInt enables one to compute intra-atomic and inter-atomic energies, as well as electron population measures used for quantitative description of chemical bonds in crystals.

Exceptionally electron-rich, nearly trigonal-planar tricyanidometalate anions [Fe(CN) ] and [Ru(CN) ] were stabilized in LiSr [Fe(CN) ] and AE [M(CN) ] (AE=Sr, Ba; M=Fe, Ru). They are the first examples of group 8 elements with the oxidation state of -IV. Microcrystalline powders were obtained by a solid-state route, single crystals from alkali metal flux.

Over time, various surgical treatment strategies have evolved to manage advanced heart failure (HF). Scientific and technological breakthroughs through the last 50 years have put forward various surgical alternatives to patients with advanced HF encompassing surgical ventricular restoration to surgical gene therapy and stem cell replacement of the diseased ventricles. Organ-saving surgical options which used to be promising included dynamic cardiomyoplasty, partial resection of ventricle and cardiac wrapping with Acorn CorCap cardiac support device.

Methods: In a single-centre, 24-week double-blind study (NCT02149420), 27 pSS patients of moderate-to-severe activity were randomly assigned to receive a single i.v.
Aims: Both left ventricular (LV) and left atrial (LA) dysfunction and remodelling contribute to adverse outcomes in heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF). Danicamtiv is a novel, cardiac myosin activator that enhances cardiomyocyte contraction.
Methods And Results: We studied the effects of danicamtiv on LV and LA function in non-clinical studies (ex vivo: skinned muscle fibres and myofibrils; in vivo: dogs with heart failure) and in a randomized, double-blind, single- and multiple-dose phase 2a trial in patients with stable HFrEF (placebo, n = 10; danicamtiv, n = 30; 50-100 mg twice daily for 7 days).
Objective: Aim of this study is to evaluate the newly developed Questionnaire for the Assessment of Adverse and Protective Childhood Experiences (APC).
Methods: Reliability, convergent as well as criterion validity were assessed in a sample of 128 patients in a hospital-setting.
Results: The APC showed high to very high reliability for the two main scales and for most of its subscales, convergent validity, and was related to depression and attachment insecurity.
