Pancreatic hemi-agenesis in MEN1: A clinical report.

We first describe a patient with multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 (MEN1) and dorsal pancreatic hemi-agenesis. Previously, pancreas divisum has been reported in MEN1. Recent data in mice have elucidated the molecular mechanisms of pancreatic endoderm specification.

Proposal for magnetic resonance imaging-guided salvage radiotherapy for prostate cancer.

Background: A subset of patients experience a biochemical recurrence following radical prostatectomy. Radiotherapy can salvage those patients, provided that all disease is encompassed within the target volume. Materials And Methods: A prospective study of 20 patients with histologically proven primary tumors with liver metastases was undertaken. Diffusion weighted MRI was performed twice before and 12-14 days after the start of treatment.
