False Memories in Individuals With Stabilized Schizophrenia.

This study aimed to examine the false memories in individuals with stabilized schizophrenia. Using the Deese, Roediger, and McDermott (DRM) task, schizophrenia patients and matched healthy controls had to recall words from each DRM list. Following the presentation of the DRM lists, the participants performed a recognition task.

National prospective study on the use of local haemostatic agents during partial nephrectomy.

Objective: To assess the use of local haemostatic agents (HAs) in a prospective multicentre large series of partial nephrectomies (PNs).

Patients And Methods: Prospective National Observational Registry on the Practices of Haemostasis in Partial Nephrectomy (NEPHRON): the study was conducted in 54 French urological centres from 1 June to 31 December 2010. In all, 570 consecutive patients undergoing a PN were enrolled in this study in a prospective manner.

Written but not oral verbal production is preserved in young schizophrenic patients.

The aim of this study is to discover whether the language capabilities of young schizophrenic patients are more affected in speaking than in writing or whether the disorders are equivalent in the two modes. To do this, we compared spoken and written descriptions of pictures obtained from 10 schizophrenic patients with those produced by 10 control subjects. These productions were analysed on the basis of objective indices.
