Objective: High-grade lymphoepithelioma-like urothelial carcinoma is a rare neoplasia in the bladder, and its relationship with Epstein-Barr virus has not been demonstrated.

Methods: We report the case of an old male presenting with recurrent hematuria diagnosed of this tumor.

Results: These are neoplasias with a great lymphocyte component, sometimes predominant, which may lead to histological confusion with inflammatory processes like chronic cystitis or even lymphomas.

An unusual case of synchronous gastric carcinomas occurred in a 28-year-old man with a family history of gastric disease. Two tumor foci were identified: a well-differentiated advanced carcinoma with the phenotypic properties of complete intestinal metaplasia and an early intestinal-type carcinoma. Histochemical and immunohistochemical stains to demonstrate complete intestinal metaplasia, ie, Alcian blue pH 2.

We report 4 new cases of breast carcinoma in teenage girls diagnosed by use of histochemical and immunohistochemical methods. These cases of breast carcinoma in women under 20 years of age were found in the files of our department in the last 24 years (1976-2000). The patients had operable breast carcinomas corresponding to various histologic types (1 invasive ductal carcinoma associated with fibroadenoma, 2 secretory carcinomas, and 1 invasive lobular-type carcinoma).
